(Photo by Sawat Ketngam)SA KAEO: Soldiers and customs officials have seized payung wood hidden under other goods on a pushcart crossing the border from Cambodia. The banned wood was hidden under tapioca bags, plastic cups and floor tiles seemingly wrapped for sale in Thailand. The three cart pushers fled back to Poipet, leaving the cart and its load behind. Payung is a protected species and imports are prohibited.
